Museum and Park Passes

Museum and park passes are purchased with funds from the Narragansett Number One Foundation summer reading program grant.

Passes are available at Hollis Center Public Library, Salmon Falls Library, West Buxton Public Library, Berry Memorial Library and Waterboro Public Library.


The Brick Store Museum is open, but requests advanced reservations. For more information, please visit http://brickstoremuseum.org/.

Historic New England is located in numerous locations across New England. The Library provides two membership cards for admission to Historic New England properties, Library and Archives, and the Henry Sheldon Museum of Vermont History. Enjoy free tours of twenty-eight historic sites and free or discounted tickets to in-person and virtual programs and events. For more information, please visit https://www.historicnewengland.org/.

Maine Narrow Gauge Railroad Co. & Museum is not available for the 2021 season. This museum is open 9:30-4 daily. For more information, please visit https://mainenarrowgauge.org/.

The Maine State Park Vehicle Pass is located at the Waterboro Public Library. Call the Waterboro Public Library to reserve this pass. This pass goes out for 3 days, and you need to have it with you to get in to the various parks.

Seashore Trolley Museum is open Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays 10-5. For more information, please visit https://trolleymuseum.org/.

Strawbery Banke Museum is open 10-5 daily. For more information, please visit https://www.strawberybanke.org/.


Reserve a pass by doing the following:

  1. Check the museum or park pass websites to check when the organizations are open.

  2. Call or visit one of the five libraries - Hollis Center Public Library, Salmon Falls Library, West Buxton Public Library, Berry Memorial Library, or Waterboro Public Library - to find out if the pass is available on the desired day.

  3. Pick up the pass from either Hollis Center Public Library, Salmon Falls Library, West Buxton Public Library, Berry Memorial Library, or Waterboro Public Library. Note: All passes are available at every library mentioned above except for the Maine State Park Pass, which is only at the Waterboro Public Library.

    • Free admission for up to 5 people, twice a day

      • 2 passes per day

      • Does not include admission to special programs or events


  • Children's Museum and Theatre of Maine

    • Open Tuesday - Sunday, as well as several holidays and Maine school vacation week Mondays

    • 4 people each day

    • 50% discount on the $10 admission for those over 18 months (a year and a half) old

      • Any events priced above our regular ticket rates are not included as a benefit of membership (The Polar Express TM Train-Ride, First Class upgrades, Cork and Rail Limited, Rails and Ales)

    • $2 off train tickets for guests

    • 10% discount in the museum gift shop


  • Maine State Park Vehicle Pass

    • Free admission

    • Admits the pass holder who signed the pass and occupants of the pass holder's vehicle

    • Up to a 17 passenger maximum

    • For day-use of Maine State Parks and Historic Sites

    • Only available at the Waterboro Public Library

      • Call the Waterboro Public Library to reserve this pass

      • Patron must have physical pass in hand; photocopies not allowed

      • The pass must be returned or the borrowing patron is charged $105

        • The Maine State Park Pass has to be replaced if it is lost


  • Maine Wildlife Park

    • Open April 14 - November 11 from 9:30am-4:30pm

    • Visitors can stay at the park until 6pm

    • Park and admission gate closing time set back 1 hour from October 15 - November 11

    • $3.50 admission fee for each member 4 years old and up

    • Discount price of $3 (cash) per person


  • Seashore Trolley Museum

    • After October 31, reserve a guided tour of 5 buildings in order to gain admission

      • Free admission to guided tours in November and December

    • Half price ice skating tickets at Labrie Family Skate at Puddle Dock Pond at Strawbery Banke Museum

    • 2 passes per day
